Below are photos and information on mWAVE Industries, LLC 24” two piece portable transmit and receive military X-band satellite communications antenna.
This model has the capability of transmitting and receiving on either input without having to mechanically rotate the OMT or a polarizer to switch between LHCP & RHCP. The only three components requiring field assembly are the Cassegrain feed, the two-piece precision reflector, and the mount, which folds flat for storage. All assembly hardware is captive and no tools are required for assembly. The Cassegrain feed is one piece and is mounted from the rear of the reflector. Cassegrain antenna designs offer low noise temperatures. Inputs are SMA female. A rugged foam lined transit case is also available.
