This antenna uses a light weight carbon fiber composite reflector with a low RMS. This design incorporates an aluminum WR-90 scalar feed, with an operating band of 8.0-12.0 GHz. The waveguide buttonhook mates to the scalar feed allowing the input of the feed to be located behind the vertex of the main reflector. The antenna is designed for horizontal, vertical or slant 45 polarization with the capability to change the polarization in the field. The mWAVE design offers superior on axis cross polarization and return loss over the full operating band.
